Bormio is not far from the Stelvio Pass that offers its guest the possibility of skiing in the summer. The Stelvio glacier, where racing teams train, is open from the end of May to the beginning of November. It lies between the pass and the Livrio.

The Stelvio glaciers is known world wide as being one of the best for variety and slopes.
